Luis Sharpe
As a former NFL player, Luis was a dominant offensive tackle for the Cardinals franchise (St. Louis and Phoenix) for 13 seasons from 1982 to 1994. Sharpe became known as an outstanding player on his teams. In spite of his team’s challenges, Luis was chosen for the Pro Bowl three consecutive times in 1987, 1988 and 1989. Due to his struggles with drug addiction, incarceration, loss of a child and other extreme hardships, Luis’s perspective comes from a uniquely divine point of redemption. Following his release from prison in 2013, Luis has remained sober by leaning on his Christian faith. He knows that only God could have saved him from his destructive lifestyle and is now on a mission to inspire hope and healing in society.
