Doug Fearing – May Speaker
Doug Fearing is a devoted husband, proud father of two daughters, and a grateful grandfather and great-grandfather. An entrepreneur, community leader, and mentor, Doug has lived the exhilaration of success and the heartbreak of setbacks—and has seen how both can become tools in God’s hands. He was the co-founder and now retired leader of Fearing’s Audio Video Security, a company recognized for excellence in its field.
Beyond business, Doug has invested deeply in people and communities. Doug served as State President of the Wisconsin Jaycees (Junior Chamber International), which at that time was a 10,000 member community service organization. At the end of his term, he was recognized as one of the top 20 state presidents in the nation and was also tapped to represent the United States Jaycees at the 1990 JCI Model United Nations. It was in the Jaycees that his public speaking grew and flourished. He also served as the Chairman of Republican Party of Columbia County from 1994-1998.
Currently, Doug serves on the boards of multiple nonprofit organizations, including one he helped found, Kinship Mentoring of Columbia County (very similar to Big Brother Big Sisters), and serves on the Board of Directors of Schools for Haiti, a 501c3 out of Tampa, FL, which operates 11 schools and is educating, feeding, and clothing over 2000 students. Doug is also a member of Gideon’s International and is a certified church presenter for the Gideons. He is also a published author.
Doug’s life was forever changed in 2005 when he experienced a divine wake-up call that redirected his pursuit of the American Dream toward the Kingdom Dream. His journey—marked by brokenness, redemption, and transformation—inspires his message that true joy and lasting impact are found only in trusting God. Today, his passion is to call others to awaken to that same Kingdom Dream and to live lives of eternal significance.
