In 2001, as Mrs. Minnesota, Kelly raised over $3 million for various charities and founded The Cancer Benefit Fund, surpassing the $1 million mark. Alongside her speaking engagements and charitable endeavors, Kelly is also an accomplished author with two books to her name: “Volunteer for Life – Achieving Your Personal and Professional Goals” and “One Great Idea Can Revolutionize Your Business!”. In 2017, she initiated a business conference, which has evolved into the sold-out boutique Christian Business Women’s Entrepreneurial conference, known as TheHOWConf.

In 2004, Kelly ventured into a successful partnership with an international consumer goods company, fostering a loyal customer base across three countries and achieving consistent growth for nearly two decades. On a personal note, Kelly is happily married to John, a renowned chef from Ireland, and they share two children.
