About Harold E Harris Jr
Harold E. Harris Jr. is a best-selling author, and IT healthcare executive with thirty-six years of progressive leadership experience in multiple technical disciplines specializing in service delivery and end-user computing management. Harold received his bachelor’s degree in public administration and political science from James Madison University in 1988 and his master’s degree in information systems and IT management from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. Most recently, Harold is certified as a Prosci Change Management Practitioner (CCMP) and a Six Sigma Green Belt. Harold is also an ITIL certified professional.
As a living kidney donor (2019) Harold continues to devote much of his time to mentoring young professionals, motivational speaking engagements, and giving back to the community. He currently serves on the board of directors for the not-for-profit organization VA Voice (located in Richmond, Virginia) which helps vision and hearing-impaired citizens of diverse backgrounds enjoy all the world has to offer through broadcasted programming that reads and performs content for those unable to see or hear it. Harold also has a lifetime relationship with the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. His professional affiliations include SHRM, Prosci Change Management Practitioner, HIMSS, and ACHE. Harold loves to travel the world and is an avid fitness enthusiast that enjoys an active lifestyle with his ridiculously gorgeous wife, Cynthia. Harold currently resides in Stafford, Virginia. Harold and his wife enjoy cruising or flying to exotic locations, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with close friends and family.
