About David Mulldune

Born into a challenging environment, David Mulldune was the eldest of three children raised by a 19-year-old single mother. His early years were marked by hardship, including a battle with polio and time spent in two different children’s homes between the ages of 8 and 10. It was during his stay at the Methodist Home for Children that he accepted Christ as his Savior at a Billy Graham Crusade. Despite this pivotal moment, his teenage years were turbulent—he became involved in gang activity, was expelled from high school three times before ultimately dropping out, and spent time in and out of juvenile hall, beginning at just 10 years old. At one point, he was even expelled from the state of California and found himself living on the streets. Seeking a new path, he joined the Marines and served in combat during the Vietnam War. Life continued to present challenges, including a divorce and bankruptcy, but through it all, he found that the grace and mercy of Christ turned even the darkest moments into blessings (Romans 8:28-29). He later remarried, and together he and his wife built a highly successful business, which they ran for nearly 20 years. This success allowed him to pursue his passion for biblical counseling, leading him to earn a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Shepherds Theological Seminary in May 2016. His journey stands as a testament to redemption, resilience, and the transformative power of faith.
