About Susan Otten
In 2022 Susan, with her 27 year old daughter, completed the entire 2194.3 miles of the Appalachian Trail, hiking over 154 days to raise almost $94,000 for Parkinson’s Disease research. They were named “Rookies of the Year” by the Michael J. Fox Foundation and their story made national news, aired twice on CBS national news, 8 times on the CBS affiliate WCCO TV in their home state of Minnesota, featured on the Michael J. Fox blog for International Women’s Day, the AARP blog with visibility to their over 38 million members and a TikToker with over 1.9 million followers even shared their story with an appeal to donate.
How is this even possible? Susan is almost 40 years older and distinctively shorter than her 6’-tall-twosport-D1-collegiate-athlete-IronMan-too-many-marathons-to-count daughter! Three things propelled their success; having the right training, tools and team with GOD as the head of the team. Learn about the many miracles and messages from God along the trail and how you can apply the lessons to your work, your ministry, your life!
