About Janice Bishop-LeMelle

Janice Bishop-LeMelle did her undergraduate and graduate work at Baylor University. Her discipline and her tenacity enabled her to earn her Bachelor’s degree in 3 1/2 years. Two years later, at the age of 23, she had earned her Master’s degree.

By profession, Janice is a professor. She teaches Marriage and Family, Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, and Effective Communication. She has taught at The University of North Texas at Dallas, Dallas Baptist University, Dallas County Community Colleges, Tarrant County Community Colleges, and Texas Women’s University where she taught in the Executive MBA Program and pioneered a Decision-Making Tools and Techniques Course. She is a licensed counselor and was offered the opportunity to teach at her alma mater, Baylor University.

Janice has her own PR Firm, Jebi Unlimited. She represents artists, manages talent, books talent, helps companies secure sponsorship, and plans events. She has over twenty years of experience, and she loves what she does.

She is a charter member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Pi Mu Chapter at Baylor University. She is the chartering president of The National Council of Negro Women, Potter’s House/MEDC Section.

Janice is unapologetically a Christian. She and her husband, Charles, live in the Dallas area. They have four children, Charity, Faith, Hope, and Chandler Christian. She and her family enjoy traveling, basketball, and helping others.
