About Deborah Davis

Dr. Deborah Davis is a respected educator and executive leadership coach. She has over two decades of experience in teaching, counseling, and administration across all school levels. She holds a BS in Middle Grades Education, a Masters in School Counseling, a Specialist in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Deborah’s passion for lifelong learning has led her to help others achieve their personal and professional goals. She works with individuals and organizations to enhance self-awareness, relational intelligence, and leadership skills. Her expertise lies in building strong teams, fostering healthy cultures, and investing in others. Recently, she founded Kinship, which provides coaching and consulting services for leadership development across industries. Deborah is a certified GiANT Worldwide Guide, and she is thrilled to share the leadership language and tools that transform lives and strengthen culture within organizations.

Deborah is a devoted wife to her high-school sweetheart of over 30 years. She is a proud mother of three adult children and lives in Atlanta. Her strong faith and relationship with the Lord have been the foundation of all aspects of her life. She has been an active member of her church community for years, serving in various capacities. Deborah’s life-long goal is to love and lead like Jesus, which she works on daily. It is a joy and privilege to incorporate her faith into work with clients.

Participants determine their default communication code through an online assessment and then learn how to connect better and communicate effectively with their team, family, and friends; define the parameters of a conversation from the outset to avoid any misunderstandings; understand the power dynamics of an interaction to eliminate the fear of honest conversation and offer constructive criticism without offending or disappointing the person on the other side.

Personal Peace: The Peace Index is a deep dive into understanding how chaos affects us in different areas of our lives. Participants are given an assessment to determine their personal peace index and practical exercise to help address real-life issues around Purpose, People, Place, Personal Health, and Provision. They are encouraged to set goals, make impactful changes, and help teammates thrive.

Self-Awareness and Relational Intelligence: Everyone has a leadership voice, whether they know it or not. The problem is most people don’t know their leadership voice or how to use it. Some don’t know what it is, others are insecure and have been told it is unimportant, and others immaturely overuse their voice and dominate the airwaves. The 5 Voices is designed to help individuals discover their leadership voice and be empowered to use it effectively. Teams and whole organizations can be transformed when everyone operates securely in their voice and learns to value the voices of others. The 5 Voices is a powerful tool to help individuals achieve greater self-awareness and better understand what it looks like to be on the other side of them. Participants are introduced to their voice and gain insight into the voices of those who live and work around them.
