About Tom Crouse
Saved out of a destructive lifestyle in 1984, Tom has spent the majority of his life boldly proclaiming the hope and power of the Gospel. He pastored for over 25 years, beginning as an assistant pastor at Faith Bible Church in Agawam, MA (1990–1993), before serving as Senior Pastor of Holland Congregational Church for 21 years. Under his leadership, the church grew from 20 to nearly 500, with hundreds of new believers coming to faith. He later served as Senior Pastor at Cornerstone Church in Myrtle Beach, SC (2014–2017).
Beyond the pulpit, he has founded the Your Life Matters Pregnancy Center in Massachusetts, served as Chaplain at Coastal Carolina College, and traveled the world teaching pastoral leadership with ACTION International. He also hosted the radio talk show Engaging Your World on WVNE 760 AM for six years and authored the book Don’t Strike the Rock.
In 2016, he served as an advisor to the Trump Presidential campaign, writing position papers on key issues and opening in prayer at a major rally in Myrtle Beach.
But in 2017, his life took a devastating turn. Personal failures and shame led to a breakdown, divorce, and a suicide attempt in 2022. The gun fired—but miraculously, he survived. That moment became a divine turning point.
Rebuilding from brokenness, he was later connected to Pastor Tullian Tchividjian, who encouraged him to begin sharing his story of failure, mercy, and redemption. In 2023, he returned to Massachusetts and now serves with Between Bridges Ministry, bringing hope to the homeless in Springfield every Sunday morning, rain or shine.
Today, he and his wife are committed to going wherever Jesus leads—sharing the message that grace is real, hope is alive, and no one is ever too far gone.
